Defined Contribution Options
FlexScape's defined contribution options give employers
the influence to control their benefit costs. Employers can better plan
their budgets and also free up money for growing their business. Also
suggests three contribution options namely percentage and plan option,
fixed dollar option and traditional option.
- Percentage & Plan Option :
Employers choose one percentage (50-100 percent) to contribute to
their employees' monthly premiums, and tie that payment to any plan,
excluding the Basic PPO Plan from BC Life & Health Insurance Company.
Their employees have the decision to select any other plan and use
that contribution toward the purchase of their chosen plan. The employee
is in charge for any premium amount over the percentage dollar amount
for the plan to which the employer donates.
- Fixed Dollar Option : Employers opt to pay any
fixed dollar amount, $100 or greater in $5 increments, to donate
to their employees' monthly premiums. Amount applies to almost all
plans that are being obtainable to employees.
- Traditional Option : Employer chooses a percentage
(50-100 percent) to contribute to their employees' monthly premiums.
This percentage is also applicable to all plans offered to employees.
FlexScape also gives you three financing options for
dental benefits:
- Defined Contribution 15
- Defined Contribution Select
- Traditional Contribution.

Under all these contribution options, employees pay
any balance of the premium.
Employee Elect Plus
FlexScape's defined contribution arrangements deliver
real stability to employers. Its Employee Elect Plus feature delivers
real choice to employees. Employers can present all of Anthem blue cross' quality
health plans to their workers under this one-of-a-kind program. Employees
are able to choose the coverage which suits their unique needs and budgets
in a good manner. Your group can select any or all nine medical plans1
as well as all five dental plans.
Section 125 Premium Only Plan (P.O. P.)
FlexScape's Premium Only Plan (P.O.P) offers employers
and employees even greater opportunity for savings. This IRS certified
plan agrees to workers for use in pre-tax dollars to pay their share
of benefit premiums. So total taxable payroll is reduced, thus saving
employers on FICA and other taxes become the outcome.

A tenth plan, our Basic PPO Plan, is
available only if it is the only PPO/EPO plan offered or if it is chosen
in permutation with other PPO/EPO plans so that your group has been
uninsured for 30 or more than 30 days.
